First plants into tunnel #2

Yesterday, we planted the first tomato plants into tunnel #2. It was brilliant. We did a little work preparing overhead wires to use as suspension cables so to speak, from which we suspended twine down to the grow bed for the tomato plants to grow up along.

The tomato varieties planted are

• Marmande

• Golden Sunrise

• Ailsa Craig

• Gardners Delight

• Alicante

We have more currently residing here in the house, almost ready for the tunnel, Rosella, Sungold, and Tumbing Toms.
